Public safety officials will offer some food for thought Wednesday when they meet with food truck vendors to promote safety awareness and navigating the criminal justice system, Harris County District Attorney Kim announced Tuesday.
“We are concerned for the safety of food truck vendors,” Ogg said. “They operate at hours that make them susceptible to robbers and other criminals. Information is power. Owners and operators of small businesses need to know how to protect themselves from those who would prey on them.”
Ogg, several prosecutors and other public safety officials will discuss and answer questions about the criminal justice system, including available resources for victims and families of victims, which include possible restitution.
