The main purpose of this Bureau is to represent the State in misdemeanor cases in the County Criminal Courts at Law, Justice of the Peace Courts. The staff consists of the lawyers, investigators, clerical, and intern personnel, who serve under the direct supervision of the Misdemeanor Trial Bureau Chief who is supervised by the First Assistant, Chief of Courts. This Bureau also supervises the Alternative Solutions and Environmental Divisions.
