Nathan Beedle, Misdemeanor Trial Bureau Chief
Nathan Beedle attended the University of Washington in Seattle, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology and a minor in Forest Management. He went on to receive a Juris Doctorate degree from Syracuse University College of Law and a Master of Science in Environmental Science from the State University of New York’s College of Environmental Science and Forestry. He was licensed by the State Bar of Texas in 2001.
From 2000 to 2005, he worked as intern and then a Harris County assistant district attorney under then-District Attorneys Johnny Holmes and Chuck Rosenthal, always assigned to the Trial Bureau. From 2005 to 2016, he was actively engaged in private practice of law, including as a criminal defense attorney. From 2017 to 2020, he served as Misdemeanor Division Chief. He was elevated to Bureau Chief in 2021 and now runs the Misdemeanor, Alternative Solutions, and Environmental Divisions.
